• The European Union (EU) has banned the use of TPO in nail products effective September 1, 2025.
• Salons across the EU must dispose of TPO-based gels and reformulate products to safer alternatives like TPO-L or BAPO.
• The United Kingdom (UK) will follow with its own ban by September 2026, giving salons a short grace period.

In other words, if you’re still using TPO gels, your products have an expiration date.
