Classic or luxury manicure, and how to choose

Quick Answer

The classic manicure covers nail shaping, cuticle care and polish. The luxury manicure adds exfoliation, a hydrating mask and a hand-and-arm massage. Choose the classic when you want tidy, finished hands; choose the luxury when the hands themselves need the attention, not just the nails.

Two manicures, one studio, and the question clients ask at the desk is always the same. Here is the honest way to choose between them.

What the classic manicure covers

Shaping, cuticle care and polish. That is the whole of it, and for a lot of visits it is exactly right. If your hands are in reasonable condition and what you want is a clean, deliberate finish before a week of work or an event on Saturday, the classic does that and does not pad the bill with steps you did not need.

What the luxury manicure adds

Exfoliation, a hydrating mask and a hand-and-arm massage, on top of everything in the classic. The difference is that the luxury manicure treats the hand, not only the nail. If you work with your hands, if you are in and out of water and cleaning products, or if the skin around the nail has started to look tired, that is what those three extra steps are for.

So which one

A short way to decide. If you look at your hands and the complaint is the nails, book the classic. If the complaint is the hands, book the luxury. Clients who come monthly often alternate, taking the luxury when they are due a proper reset and the classic in between.

Both use the same chemistry, and that is the point

Neither is a lesser product. Both use LNC Professional, which is MMA-free, professional-grade and eco-conscious, built on the same trusted chemistry clients have known for years through the NSI lineage. The difference between the two manicures is the number of steps, never the quality of what goes on your hands.

Men book manicures here too

Worth saying plainly, because it still surprises people. A manicure is nail and skin care, and plenty of men in Georgetown book one, buffed rather than polished. The classic covers it.
